In a World of corrupt politicians, it should be refreshing to have one that followed the Constitution of her state, instead of her own views or opinions. After all, How many judges rule on their own views instead of the Constitution. And we know the majority of politicians put themselves before us. Take a look at the economy. I glad we a new “Rough Rider” named Sarah Palin.

It is sad that your fear of people who are different, and your blind and bizarre take on Christianity, has led you down the path of wrong headed political decisions. Step back and look at what Palin really has to provide. Is she really the best person for the job? Or does she simply represent the clean-look hate you harbor inside yourselves?

That said, do you really think that Palin has an understanding of the rest of the world that it takes to be the VP or the next President of the USA? She acquired her first passport in 2007 and used it to visit with Alaskan National Guard soldiers in Kuwait and travel to Germany to meet with wounded soldiers. She has also visited Ireland. Wow, a real well-rounded traveler.

There is no way this is the best person for the job.

Grow up. If Gay Marriage is your big bag of tricks, you’re not gonna get much help from anyone. The fact is, America is going to be gone soon and the whole Gay Marriage issue won’t matter when you’re fighting for your life against Russian troops.

The fact is that Palin does more good for McCain than does bad. That, and the fact that Palin COULD NOT deny signing in the order because the Alaskan Supreme Court said she had to, shows that she is possibly one of the best people to be the VP.

I understand your point of view and I have struggled with how to support or not support politicians when it comes to moralistic issues. It boils down to we live in a sin-filled, self-serving society and God has already made it clear it is all headed for the gutter until the day He cleans up the mess. We can’t change what is going to happen, the US of A and the rest of the world will be living like Sodom and Gomorrah again someday (publicly accepted debased and disgusting behavior). Sad but true.
You can’t lock yourself into one issue and write Palin off, you have to look at the big picture (Genesis to Revelation) and keep it all in perspective. The government paying benefits to homosexual couples is rated G compared to what is to come.
So, even though I also do not agree with her decisions in that area, I notch it as one negative in light of dozens of positives. Overall I am very impressed with her open book style of management and no fear attitude to blowing the whistle on corruption. Alaska needed that and the USA needs that, she could clean some serious White House if elected and that is why I support her.

Palin has stated that she has gay friends, and is receptive to gay and lesbian concerns about discrimination. While the previous administration did not implement same-sex benefits, Palin complied with a state Supreme Court order and signed them into law.

Palin’s first veto was used on legislation that would have barred the state from granting benefits to gay state employees and their partners. In effect, her veto granted State of Alaska benefits to same-sex couples.

Guv Godless is more like it.

Question: Why is the media seemingly losing interest in the Iraq War?

Answer: According to columnist Jack Kelly of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the reason is simple: because of the Petraeus strategy, coupled with growing support from former Sunni insurgents, the U.S. is winning the war — and al Qaeda is losing.

Conclusion: What’s good news for America is no news for the media.

On Monday and Tuesday, I’ll talk more about Iraq, and the suprising influence it might have on the election.
